School wants material to compile history

by isleofman.com 20th January 2009
A primary school in the south of the Island is appealing to members of the local community to help compile its history, to mark a major anniversary.

Arbory School's parent-teacher association is looking for anyone with a connection to get involved.

Angela Pickard, from Friends of Arbory School, wants stories, memories or photos from any time in the past 175 years.

She told Manx Radio that only this morning she received some photos from more than 50 years ago (play attached audio file):

You can contact Angela Pickard on 424661.
