Mountain Road open again

by isleofman.com 19th January 2009
The Mountain Road and Tholt y Will Road reopened to traffic at 3.15pm today, having been closed due to conditions described as "treacherous".

Police warned motorists to drive with great care on both routes, particularly as Department of Transport sweepers and gritters were still working in the area.

The Tholt y Will Road was described as being "slushy" in parts.

The Brandywell Road remained closed because of snow.
