Carol Glover to leave DTL

by isleofman.com 19th January 2009
It’s been confirmed Department of Tourism and Leisure chief executive Carol Glover is to leave her position.

Mrs Glover has had a turbulent time within the department.

She has been off work for six months and was initially signed off for health reasons.

It coincided with the Director of Tourism Geoff Le Page being off on sick leave. He has since resumed work.

Applications for the post of chief executive will close on February the sixth.

Mrs Glover joined the Department in June 2004.

Colin Kniveton was asked to take on her role temporarily in addition to his position as chief executive of the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry.
