Expert to give lecture on the Druids

by isleofman.com 16th January 2009
The Isle of Man's attitudes to Druids will be explored at the Manx Museum this evening.

There is little solid evidence of the presence and practices of the ancient Celtic sect, which has led to much conjecture through the centuries.

However, the Island traditionally has a special relationship with them, and this will be explored by Bristol University's Professor Ronald Hutton in his presentation (play attached audio file):

The lecture starts at 7.30pm, with doors opening half an hour earlier.
