Alleged drugs dealer bailed by high bailiff

A 52 year-old man has been committed to the Court of General Gaol to face trial for drugs offences.

Trevor Anthony Cooil of James Road, Castletown is charged with possessing drugs with intent to supply, and possessing them.

At a court appearance before High Bailiff Michael Moyle, Mr Cooil’s advocate said committal papers had been received from the attorney general, but he needed time to discuss them with his client.

Mr Moyle bailed Mr Cooil to appear again on January 27.
