More walking areas for dog owners?

by isleofman.com 14th January 2009
Dog walkers are being urged to attend this afternoon's meeting of Douglas Council, at which members are due to look at possible sites for a second dog walking area within the borough.

Many dog owners would like to see a relaxation of the restrictions which have banned the animals from the town's parks, gardens and glens.

Sites being considered include an area in Watterson Lane, and two possible locations at Anagh Coar.

The current dog walking area is at Noble's Park.

Start time for the meeting: 2.30pm at the Town Hall in Ridgeway Street.
