Fire crews in Hillside Avenue

Hillside Avenue in Douglas was closed for a short time this morning, after excessive smoke was seen coming from a chimney.

Emergency services responded to a call from a member of the public at around 8am.

Officers located a fault with a chimney which will be repaired by staff from Douglas Corporation.
