Wildlife fears over possible demolition

Valued sea life would be destroyed if Ramsey's Queen's Pier was ever demolished.

That’s the belief of a professional diver who has made a find at the end of the Victorian structure.

Although a public consultation is overwhelmingly in favour of refurbishing the pier, demolition is among three options due to go before Tynwald later this month.

Michael Tramontana from the Friends of the Pier says removing the famous landmark would be unwise (play attached audio file):
