Manxies Head to Beijing

by isleofman.com 10th January 2009
Time to get those banners up again - two more Manx cyclists will compete in Beijing next weekend.

Peter Kennaugh and Mark Christian have been selected in the Great Britain team for the Track World Cup meeting.

Last year, Jonny Bellis and Mark Cavendish competed in the Olympic Games.

It will be Kennaugh's second World Cup event - he won a silver medal in the Points Race in Colombia just before Christmas.

The trip to China will be Christian's debut at this level.
