Police hunt youths after serious incident

by isleofman.com 10th January 2009
Police are appealing for information after a group of youths smashed the window of a moving car by throwing stones at it.

The incident happened around 7.30pm yesterday in Finch Road, Douglas as the car was travelling under the museum bridge.

Police say the driver of the car was very shaken.

Officers say it was "an incredibly irresponsible act which could have led to a very serious accident", and it was no more than luck that no one was hurt.

Anyone with information is asked to ring Police Headquarters on 631212, or the anonymous Crimestoppers number, 0800 555 111.
