Mistletoe and kisses boost charity funds

by isleofman.com 7th January 2009
A Port St Mary couple who collected cash and kisses for Hospice Isle of Man say they have been astounded by the generosity of the Manx public.

It's the second time the pair, who don't wish to be named, have raised funds using mistletoe around some of the Island's pubs.

Last year they made ?1,800 but this time they got more than ?2,200.

They are thanking everyone who gave their small change to raise such a significant amount.

The collections took place in the run up to New Year and the money has already been handed over to Hospice Isle of Man.
