Coldest December for 12 years

Last month was the coldest December since 1996 in the Isle of Man.

Figures from the Met Office show the average temperature was 6.1 degrees celcius.

The coldest day was New Years Eve where temperatures only reached three degrees while the mildest day was the 21st with an average of 12.4 celcius.
