'Woolies' prepares to close

Woolworths in Strand Street in Douglas will finally close its doors tomorrow (Monday).

Ever since it was announced the chain would go into liquidation, shoppers have been queuing to pick up bargains. The stocks have been dwindling on the shelves.

Trade and Industry Minister David Cretney says it isn't known what will happen to the site once the store closes (audio file attached):
