Large field for annual relay event

Over 100 competitors are tackling the Mann and Partners Millennium Way Relay today.

The traditional festive contest sees teams of runners and cyclists follow the 24 mile route down the middle of the Island, starting off at Sky Hill just outside Ramsey and finishing in Castletown Square.

Organising committee member Andy Fox explains what he thinks draws people to the event (play attached audio file):
