Bethany's walk for the homeless

by isleofman.com 24th December 2008
A Peel woman will be walking to every pub in the Isle of Man this Christmas to raise money for the homeless.

Extreme athlete Bethany Clague, who successfully completed two laps of the Parish Walk earlier this year, will begin the fund raising effort on Boxing Day.

She plans to spend ten minutes in each pub, passing round a collection bucket.

Bethany (pictured) will start in Peel and make her way to Port Erin before heading north, and aims to complete the challenge in four days.

The money will go towards shelters for the homeless in the Island:
