Gloucester passengers met by protestors

Passengers on a Manx2.com flight to Gloucester Airport were met by two protestors in the arrivals area yesterday.

The duo were handing out leaflets and carrying banners opposing plans to expand the airport, and rushed through the terminal to meet the flight as it arrived from Ronaldsway.

Both were removed from the terminal by security staff and questioned by police but released without charge.

Kevin Lister, one of those involved, says it’s something those flying to Gloucester can expect more of in future (audio file attached):
