New red panda at Curraghs

by isleofman.com 22nd December 2008
A single dad in the north of the Island won’t be spending Christmas alone after a special dating agency found him some company this year.

Zuleika, the red male panda at the Curraghs Wildlife Park, will meet Frisco from Cornwall’s Paradise Park, just in time for the mating season.

His mate died 18 months ago, leaving his daughter Maggie to be raised by the park’s keepers.

But as a breeding male, staff were keen to find him another mate quickly and Frisco has now arrived at the Curraghs.
