Safe sex - an important part of Christmas

by isleofman.com 19th December 2008
Casual sex this Christmas could leave you with a most unwanted present.

The DHSS is warning excess alcohol and festive activities lead people to take risks which could result in a sexually transmitted infection, unwanted pregnancy or psychological problems.

The advice is to not drink to excess, and to practice safe sex with the correct use of a condom.

For further information contact the Genito-Urinary Medicine Clinic, known as GUM, or the Family Planning Clinic.

Health officials hope the warning will stop STIs ruining the festive period.
