Government's PR spending revealed

The annual spend for on-Island public relations within the Manx Government is just over ?200,000.

The figure is given in a reply to a written question in Tynwald, which also states that three departments employ public relations staff.

They are the departments of education, home affairs and health and social security.

Three others use the services of Island-based consultants for communications advice and support.
