Valkyrs A moved top of the Mixed Premier League on Saturday with a 6-3 victory over Ramsey A.
It maintains the three-way battle for the title.

The clash between the other two contenders, Falcons and reigning champions Bacchas A, was postponed.

Ramsey’s scorers were Ollie Webster, Keith Corkill and a penalty flick from keeper Jason Davis.

At the other end of the table, bottom club Phoenix battled hard but were beaten again – Andrew Whiting (two) and Jon Rimmer earning Bacchas B a 3-0 success.

Whiting also saved a penalty.
