Taxi debate rumbles on

More questions than answers is the conclusion thrown up by the consultation on the future of the Isle of Man's taxi trade.

A Tynwald debate on whether to delimit the number of cabs and introduce an all-Island licensing authority has been delayed until next spring.

If approved, the proposals would allow new operators into what has traditionally been a tightly regulated industry.
