Disqualified driver could go to prison

A Douglas woman has been warned she may face jail after admitting driving without insurance while disqualified.

42 year-old Julie Edge of Church Road Marina admitted the offences when she appeared before High Bailiff Michael Moyle.

The court heard police stopped her after spotting her driving along Bucks Road in July.

She had been disqualified for six years in September 2004.

Mr Moyle warned her should could go to prison, and adjourned the case until December 16 for sentencing.
