There's a strong Manx contingent set for the Revolution 21 cycling event at the Manchester Velodrome on Saturday evening.

It's the first round of the sixth season.

Jonny Bellis (pictured) lines up in a four man CSC-Saxo Bank team, Peter Kennaugh and Mark Christian are representing 100% Me while youngster Chris Whorral rides for the Manx Road Club.

He's making the step up from the Future Stars Series, in which he came second at Revolution 20 in February.

All four Manx riders are down to compete in the 10km, 20km and Motor Paced Scratch Races.

Jonny Bellis and Chris Whorral also ride in the 1km Madison Time Trial, teaming up with Ben Swift and Dan McLay respectively.

The action gets underway at 7pm.
