Lay off our bus drivers!

That’s the message from public sector union Unite ahead of a review of the Isle of Man's bus network and timetables.

The six phase study will begin later this month and involves a survey of passengers and a detailed examination of the entire network and timetables.

Regional industrial organiser for Unite, Mick Hewer, says he welcomes the review, so long as union reps and stewards are involved, but he doesn't want any finger pointing at those who do an already challenging job (audio file attached):
