Smooth transition to Jurby prison

The Government says it's happy with how things are settling down at the new prison at Jurby.

As hundreds of members of the public take the opportunity to see the old prison, in Victoria Road, Home Affairs Minister Adrian Earnshaw (pictured) has complemented the smooth transition to the North.

What is being advanced, he says, is the process of enabling prisoners to avoid wasting their time behind bars (audio file attached):
