All hail the Queenie

Port St Mary will be the venue for the Island's answer to an oyster festival tomorrow (Sat).

Island Seafare, together with Manx Wildlife Trust, are celebrating our very own delicacy, the Queenie.

Restaurants and shops have been promoting the succulent shellfish all week.

This weekend's event includes fishing demonstrations, nature activities and a cooking demo.

Celebrity chefs, the Hairy Bikers - big fans of the Island - will be giving away the secrets of their trade.
