Drug dealer jailed

by isleofman.com 7th August 2008
A 24 year-old man who supplied cannabis resin to his friends has been jailed for three months by the High Bailiff.

Spencer Michael Keane, of Empire Terrace, Douglas, appeared for sentence after admitting possessing and supplying the drug.

Police searched his room on July 11 and found 98g of resin.

Keane voluntarily admitted he had given some to friends, then started to charge them.

His advocate said he had been honest with police from the moment of arrest and was not a commercial dealer.

He had already spent over three weeks in custody and wouldn't be getting involved in drugs again.
