Weatherman says climate is changing

Many of us have grown to believe long-term weather patterns are changing.

Summers seem wetter than usual, with the winters milder, and there's a perception the weather is more extreme.

July looked like being the coolest for many years, but a spell of very warm weather right at the end of the period meant temperatures were spot-on the long term average.
