Fund raiser with a difference

by isleofman.com 24th June 2008
Get your wellies on this Friday!

That's the message from the Manx Wildlife Trust as is prepares to celebrate 'Wellies for Wildlife Day.'

Organisers want as many people as possible will mark the occasion by wearing their wellies to work, and collecting money for the charity as they do so.

All funds raised will go to support the trust's conservation work on the Island in areas such as the Ballaugh Curraghs.

Cath Smith from the trust says they will also be selling off some specially commissioned 'Welly pictures' (audio file attached):

You can get more information on 'Wellies for Wildlife Day' by ringing the Manx Wildlife Trust on 801 985.
