Advice for students

Sixth formers plotting their next move after they leave school this summer should make sure they don't miss a big higher education 'choices' evening at Ballakermeen High School.

It's on tonight (Thurs) and Friday - a wide range of 80 universities and colleges from all over the UK will be there to answer questions from students and their parents.

You might want to know more about a particular course of study - or about student accomodation - this is an opportunity to get those answers first-hand.

Head of Sixth form at Ballakermeen Ian Kay says location has always been an important factor for students leaving the Island:
