Further inspection of Solway Harvester

by isleofman.com 16th June 2008
A Scottish Sheriff will board the wreck of the Solway Harvester this morning (Mon).

Brian Lockhart's inspection comes as proceedings continue in Scotland to try and bring the proceedings in the case to a conclusion. The Court of Session in Edinburgh has been asked to obtain evidence on commission from the owner of the Harvester, Richard Gidney.

The vessel sank eight years ago. She was moved from her usual mooring on South Quay, to the King Edward Pier on Friday. This is to make boarding easier.
