by isleofman.com 2nd June 2008
Scoill Vallajeelt will have a new headteacher from the autumn term.

Adrian Shorthouse is taking over from Ian Walmsley, who has been appointed head of Fairfield Junior School.

For most of his teaching career Mr Shorthouse has been in the Telford and Wrekin Local Education Authority but he also has experience of working on an island, having managed a primary school on Alderney.

Mr Shorthouse (pictured) says he is looking forward to taking on his new role at the Braddan school, following time spent recently as a regional learning advisor.
