Hospital impresses racing team manager

by isleofman.com 28th May 2008
A motorcycle team boss is full of praise for the service provided for one of his riders at Noble's Hospital.

Manager of Phase One Endurance Russell Benney says it was a great shock to hear about James McBride's accident in the final minutes of last night's TT practice session.

He crashed at Gorse Lea and suffered major fractures, having recorded one of the fastest laps around the course, at 122.12 mph, earlier in the evening.

Mr Benney is very impressed with how the situation has been handled (audio file attached):

This afternoon James was said to be in a stable condition, after undergoing surgery overnight.
