MHKs back Sam's bid for Nancy role

The House of Keys has added its weight to Manx singer Samantha Barks' quest to land a leading role in a new West End production of the musical Oliver.

On Sunday, the Laxey teenager, now based in London, made it through to the final of the BBC television show 'I'd Do Anything'.

And, before today's business got under way, Glenfaba MHK and Speaker Steve Rodan (pictured) made this suggestion:
