Wounding with intent - inquiries continue

A 25 year-old man charged with two offences of wounding with intent to commit murder has made a further court appearance.

Christopher William Scatchard, of no fixed abode was remanded in custody until May 20.

Rosemary Burnett, prosecuting, said inquiries into the matter were continuing.

Twenty-nine year-old Michelle McBirnie, of Hazel Crescent, Pulrose was also remanded in custody.

She is charged with assisting an offender and will appear again on Friday when a bail application will be considered by High Bailiff Michael Moyle.
