TT game updated

by isleofman.com 4th April 2008
A new Playstation game featuring the TT should be out just in time for this year’s festival.

Jester Publishing, who created the bestselling TT Superbikes game in 2005, is set to release a sequel at the end of May.

TT Superbikes: Real Roadracing Championship will also feature the North West, Ulster Grand Prix, Macau Grand Prix and Aberdare Park.

Organisers of the North West 200 are hoping riders will use a pre-release version to familiarise themselves with the course before racing starts in mid-May.

The first game sold a million copies and spent four weeks at the top of the gaming charts.

It was released to critical acclaim, and many of the TT’s riders said it was as close to the real thing as a game could get.

Jester says the sequel will only be available for the Playstation 2 and no release date has yet been finalised.

However, a preliminary date of May 30th has already been announced, which would make it available just in time for TT 2008.
