It's the Pitts again for St George's Ward

by isleofman.com 20th March 2008
A husband and wife team who serve St George's Ward in Douglas will be defending their seats in the forthcoming local authority elections.

Stephen (pictured) and Dot Pitts are experienced members of the Town Council, and Mr Pitts was Mayor of Douglas from 2001 to 2002.

If re-elected they promise to do their best for the capital over the next four years, paying particular attention to making sure rates don't rise above inflation.

Nominations for the local authority general election close a week today, with polling on April 27.
