Volunteers needed for obesity study

by isleofman.com 6th March 2008
If you are over 18 and would like to lose weight, you can help the DHSS with a new study into obesity.

The department is looking for 300 volunteers to take part in the groundbreaking six month survey.

Results will be used to determine how best to tackle the problem of obesity in the Isle of Man.

Consultant Diabetologist and Endocrinologist Dr Emran Khan says the deadline for submissions is the end of this month (audio file attached):

Anybody who would like to take part in the study is asked to call 650883 and leave their name, address, height and weight. Volunteers will then be sent an information pack.
