Digital switch-over - another reminder

Isle of Man television viewers are being urged to get set for the digital switch-over, after it was revealed four out of five residents don't know when it's going to happen.

For most people - all of those who receive Border TV - the analogue signal will go off in April or June next year.

Those who receive ITV Wales or Granada will switch later in 2009, while viewers who get their television from Northern Ireland won't change until 2012.

Border Regional Manager John Askew says a definite date will be publicised later this year:
