Jim Mitchell to defend his seat

by isleofman.com 6th March 2008
Douglas Town Councillor Jim Mitchell will defend his seat at the local authority elections next month.

He returned to the council, representing Murray's Ward in 2004, after a three and a half year break.

Councillor Mitchell (pictured) says, if elected, he will continue to vote against above-inflation rate increases.

His other priorities include improving street lighting, roads and pavements in the town.
