CSI methods now online

A fascinating new website has been launched by the Isle of Man's Crime Scene Investigation Department.

It was set up principally as a tool for people interested in pursuing a career in the field but is accessible to all.

For many years students were able to go along to the lab for work experience and study things first-hand, but issues such as health and safety and maintaining the practical running of the facility mean this is no longer workable.

Head of the CSI team DS Grahame Bell (pictured) says their work has been brought into the spotlight by the recent spate of TV programmes:
