Barn fire investigations continue

Investigations are continuing to find out what started a barn fire at a farm in Maughold which killed livestock and destroyed property.

Fire crews from Ramsey and Laxey were called out just before 6pm yesterday.

The farm belongs to John and Denise Moore, who have lost 14 sheep and six lambs.

They also have concerns for 300 pregnant ewes who were in a building nearby.
