Car meet plans for 2008

by isleofman.com 28th February 2008
The organisers of last summer's Ace Cafe-style car meet hope to build on the success and hold an even bigger and better one this year

John Kerr says the 2007 gathering, which was held at the Grandstand, brought together motorists of all ages and vehicular persuasion to show off their machines.

And Inspector Derek Flint (pictured), former head of the Roads Policing Unit, says that seemed to build a bridge between the different generations of petrolheads, while also giving the police a chance to promote an important message:
B/A: If you're interested in the prososed event, keep an eye on xlr8.co.im for more details as they're released.

Or if you can help with sponsorship, ideas or more practical assistance, call John on 814108 or Sarah on 234666.
