'Not guilty' plea in manslaughter case

A Peel man has denied a charge of manslaughter.

Forty-three year-old Marcus Anthony McCormack of North View and 24 year-old Mark Anthony Quirk of Castlemona Avenue in Douglas are alleged to have caused the death of Joseph McCabe on August 23 last year.

Mr McCormick has pleaded not guilty to the charge with Mr Quirk yet to enter a plea.

Both men have been remanded in custody.

Forty-one year old Sandra Rose Quirk, of David Gray House, denies committing an act against public justice and has been bailed.

All three will appear in court again on March 31.
