The trial of a gymnastics coach charged with eight counts of indecent assault begins in earnest this morning.
Sixty-two year-old Hal Volante, facilities manager at the Ellan Vannin Gymnastics Club in Douglas, is accused of offences against girls aged between ten and 14.
They were allegedly committed between 1997 and January last year.
A jury of five women and two men were sworn-in on Monday and the prosecution will open its case this morning.
