Baines case to general jail

A case involving Isle of Man based millionaire Trevor Baines and his wife will go to a court of general jail next month.

They appeared before High Bailiff Michael Moyle today on charges relating to money laundering.

The 68 year-old is charged with assisting another with the proceeds of crime and of falsifying records.

Forty-nine year-old Wendy Baines is accused of false accounting.

The pair will appear before a deemster on March 14.

Their bail was renewed.
