by isleofman.com 19th February 2008
The jury at the trial of two men accused of manslaughter has been sent out to consider its verdicts and will continue deliberations tomorrow morning (Wednesday).

Forty-seven year-old Philip Firth from Laxey and 52 year-old David Jones of Ramsey are charged with the manslaughter of teenage cyclist James Berry in December 2005.

Both deny the charge.

The men carried out repairs to a wagon shortly before it was involved in a fatal accident.
