Douglas slip up at Moore

by isleofman.com 16th February 2008
Douglas’ promotion ambitions in EuroManx South Lancashire/Cheshire Division Three took a dent when they lost 12-3 away at Moore.

Douglas were out muscled by a big Moore pack of forwards who starved them of possession for much of the match.

A solitary Bryn Snellgrove penalty was the only reward for the visitors’ efforts.

They remain top of the table with a four point advantage over rivals St Edwards Old Boys and, with only a handful of games to go, still look hot favourites for the title.
