Expert says use Knox to promote Island

The Director of the Archibald Knox Society would like to see more of a tie-in between the artist's work and the Island's international identity.

Liam O'Neill says Knox is not just an iconic figure in the Isle of Man, but also a worldwide Manx celebrity and this could be used to our advantage

Next Friday marks the 75th anniversary of the famous artist's death and his work is currently fetching some staggering prices in auction houses in the United States.

Mr O'Neill has a clear idea of where Knox's designs could be used to promote the Island (audio file attached):
