English language needs to be spoken

A leading figure in the Construction Industry has said that migrant workers should have at least a basic knowledge of English before they arrive here.

Louise Furniss of the Employers Federation says not being able to understand what instructions are being given to them can have dangerous consequences.

She says its something she is conscious of when travelling abroad:
